This WIKI has information you should know about birding in the Croydon area. Although it is managed by Croydon Birders to give news about latest sightings in Croydon and best places to go birdwatching in the area, anyone is welcome to contribute.

Information Requirements
This site is intended for people to view and enter sightings of birds in the Croydon area. This can be individual sightings or complete lists from the sites you've visitied. Information on all the latest sightings can be found on the Latest News.
We would like you to e-mail any records of schedule 1 species during the breeding season to us, but any such records posted on this site will be removed from this site (as will any anonymous posts).
When entering records please ensure you include the following information -
- date
- location
- species seen (with numbers, age, sex, etc as relevant)
- observer details
using the standard format as for other entries. A note about the times you were at the location, or the time of the sighting would be very much appreciated.

Please note that records submitted to this website will be shared with the RSPB Croydon Local Group for use in their survey of birds in Croydon. We may get back to you for more info about records of scarcer species and records of other wildlife as records posted here may also be submitted to the London Natural History Society and the Surrey county bird recorder.
