30th - Lloyd Park (10:45): Buzzard over to east. (John Parish) Didn't look quite right for a Common Buzzard: wings looked too long and a little too narrow, neck looked too long, and when it went into a final fast descending glide with tail closed the tail looked too long. Possible Honey Buzzard?

27th - South Croydon: Several Herring Gulls around roof of South Croydon bus garage. Nesting here? (JB) I regularly see Herring Gulls around the bus garage and recently saw a Herring Gull viciously see off a Lesser Black-backed Gull almost causing them both to get hit by a car, so I would think they are nesting. 15th - Central Croydon: Herring Gull nest with 3 well grown chicks, another 2 Herring Gulls carrying food to a different rooftop and a Lesser Black-back Gull apparently carrying nest material. If anyone has further evidence of gulls breeding in the town centre or elsewhere in Croydon please let us know. Also Grey Wagtail. (JB)

12th - Sanderstead: 2 House Martins around nest site - I was worried that they were not going to return or had been displaced by a House Sparrow colony that has relocated from another site. First returning Black-headed Gull at Sanderstead Pond after breeding season.(JB)
